INGREDIENTS
Idly rice – 1 cup
Raw rice - ¼ cup
Toor dal – ¼ cup
Channa dal – 1 tblsp
Fennel seeds – 1 tblsp
Whole pepper – 1 tblsp
Red chillies - 2
Salt - 1 tblsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tblsp
Hing - little
Curry leaves – few
Chopped onion – few
PROCEDURE
1.
Soak the idli rice, raw rice, toor dal, channa
dal in water for 3 hours
2.
After 3 hours, add the soaked ingredients in
mixie or blender. Add fennel seeds, pepper, salt, red chillies, hing to it.
3.
Now grind all those in a mixie or blender to
dosa batter conssistency
6. Now for tempering, heat oil in a pan,
add mustard seeds. Once it splutters, add curry leaves and onions.
7. once onion turns golden brown, add it to
the adai batter
8. Adjust the batter consistency with water
according to your preference
9. now prepare adai in dosa tawa as we do
for dosa
10. Crispy adai is ready. Enjoy it along
with chutney
THINGS TO KNOW:
1.
Do not add too much water
2.
Batter will not be very smooth as dosa batter
3.
Have it along with jaggery
